This week we meet Liz from Bushel and A Peck Dog Rescue in North Carolina.

Bushel & A Peck Dog Rescue’s mission is to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for rescued, abandoned, and “misunderstood” dogs. Pairing the animals with wounded warriors who have served their country, both parties benefit from the unconditional love and companionship that each provide. The program brings together man and dog on a journey of love, healing and dedication, which will result in a second chance and happy ending for both.
